Verdict

Adayar went on to win the Derby and King George after finishing second in this trial in 2021 and his brother MILITARY ORDER is taken to go one better. The latter returned to action with a pleasing victory over 1m2f at Newbury and looks the one to beat. Circle of Fire separated a couple of Godolphin horses when runner-up in Listed company at Newmarket last week but Ndaawi struggled in a Group 1 in France last autumn, though it was testing ground and better is expected from the Derby entry here. Laafi, Inquiring Minds and Waipiro are all upped in class but the latter’s yard won this in 2020. Regal Empire and stablemate Think First look up against it.
