In depth

Verdict

Rated 80, Heart Of Soul drops back in trip on his return to action having missed a couple of engagements last month. He’ll go close if anywhere near his best but a chance is taken on BOUTONNIERE given he separated a couple of subsequent winners when third over track and trip last time - Oisin Murphy’s presence in the saddle is another positive. Emirates Empire may improve for the longer trip on his reappearance while Blue Beirut, a half-brother to a host of winners, is preferred to both Royal Born and Clap Your Hands of the newcomers.
