Verdict

HIDDEN PEARL was beaten only a short-head attempting to make all over today’s trip at Catterick and John Berry’s filly may finally open her account with more to come over the distance. Uncle Bernie won over track and trip in December but has subsequently finished behind Monsieur Fox when the latter was narrowly beaten here in March. Walk It Talk It has more scope than most as she steps up in trip and Double Legend is not badly treated on his winning form over 1m4f.
