In depth

Verdict

Mark Johnston looks to have a good chance of landing both divisions of this with ARMY OF INDIA dropping back down in class. The latter struggled in the Coventry Stakes at Ascot but won at Kempton on his earlier debut and doesn’t look to have much to fear from today’s opposition. Charlie's Jamboree and Boot Scootin Baby posted better efforts last time without threatening but Vamoos went backwards having placed at Wolverhampton earlier. Light Wakeup is out of a winner on the all-weather and preferred to Largo Bay of the newcomers.
