A runner-up at Kempton last time, Master Archer has found one too good on his last six starts on the Flat and WESTERN WAY looks a safer proposition. The latter has won three times over 2m on the all-weather this year and Frankie Dettori’s presence in the saddle suggests another bold bid is likely. Mancini attempts today’s longer trip for the first time having won over 1m6f at Chelmsford but Fitzwilly stays the distance though rarely wins and was behind third-placed Ardamir at Kempton back in February.
