A winner over 6f at Wolverhampton last time, Excellent Show is not out of this on his first start at this track but a wide draw doesn't help the causes of Incomparable and Fantasy Fighter. Primo De Vida won his maiden over C&D and a good run from runner-up Sailing North earlier on the card will boost confidence in his chance. Waterloo Duck remains in fine form and makes some appeal, but the vote goes to the lightly-raced PICANSORT, who is progressing nicely and is only 2lb higher than when scoring over C&D last month.
