CHARITY LANE will be expected to justify his summer purchase by winning this in style. In Vino can finish second but the race for third is more complex. Charity Lane won his first two starts in impressive fashion under testing conditions before coming unstuck in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree. In fairness he did finish sixth on what was the fastest ground that he's encountered to date but this will be more to his liking and connections will be expecting him to live up to his price tag. In Vino improved with each of his three starts and should relish the testing ground for his hurdling debut but his bumper form is someway below that of Charity Lane. Roughing It, Native Bob and Helpston have shown some ability and are others that could feature but they shouldn't get too close to Charity Lane.
