Thought Is Free gets the vote in the second division of this maiden at the main expense of Romany Princess, Bookish and Capefly. The selection takes a whopping drop in class here having been only beaten three lengths at York in the Lowther. She was unfancied then but her form stands out in the context of this race; assuming that she acts on the track then she must take all the beating. Bookish and Capefly are two interesting newcomers; the latter is a half-sister to the smart Mashaahed and must be respected if the market gives off the right signals as the stable can ready a newcomer. Fernlawn Hope represents a stable in good nick so has claims, although a high draw is possibly not ideal. Romany Princess is the most exposed runner in the field, however she brings a decent level of form to the race and should be respected on her all-weather debut. The lack of all-weather form throws a few questions in the air, and whilst Siryena could go well if continuing to improve for her racing, we will stick with Thought Is Free to finally score.
