In depth

Verdict

Poetic Steps' overall profile affords her a major claim but she must bounce back from a tailed-off performance at Newmarket, a strangely out-of-character effort. However, she wouldn't be the first or last stable inmate to do so. Suprematism is down to a mark from which he should be going close in contests of this level whilst Doctor Jazz is a likely improver now sent handicapping. However, TROUBLE AND STRIFE, as is the case with many a stable inmate, showed significant improvement when upped in trip on his three-year-old debut to post a decent effort over course and distance when second to Life On Earth. Further progress is anticipated and he should go close in receipt of weight all round.
