Verdict
Almqvist has been raised 5lb for winning over track and trip in March and Gleeds Girl made a successful debut in handicaps when scoring at Bath back in September. It remains to be seen if Bayar improves for the drop in trip now handicapping for the first time along with INTREPID ITALIAN. The latter also debuts over 6f but the Hannon colt finished second over the minimum trip on the Fibresand at Southwell last time despite losing ground on a couple of occasions and he gets the vote to come out best in this.
