This is another tough event to call, but Gemi Bed is just preferred ahead of Joely Green and Royal Prodigy. From the in form Gary Moore stable, which has had a tremendous start to the week, this versatile gelding finished an excellent third over course and distance at the end of December. The form of that race has been given the odd boost over the last few weeks so Gemi Bed is entitled to go close. Joely Green has contested much better races in the past and it would be no surprise to see this one in the places at a decent price. However for the main threat to the selection it has to be Royal Prodigy who disappointed in a strong handicap last time after back to back course victories. Today's opposition will be more to his liking and a big run is expected. The improving Sungio is another worthy of respect but Gemi Bed is taken to land the spoils.
