Indian Wizard is selected to defy topweight at the expense of Babeth, Casablanca Minx, Ms Rainbow Runner and Zizou. There are certainly plenty in with chances in this handicap, and it is the one at the top of the weights, Indian Wizard, that makes most appeal. Paul Howling's charge was successful over the course and distance eight days ago when putting in a remarkable performance to get up and beat Ten Shun after rearing coming out of the stalls and giving the rest of the field a six-length start. That run suggests that he is better than selling class, and although lumbered with 9st 9lb here, a level break will surely see him go close. Babeth was successful over five furlongs at Wolverhampton in October and although trying this trip for the first time, she should get it on breeding. Casablanca Minx came around the outside to finish third here a week ago and is not badly treated, while Ms Rainbow Runner was done for toe in the closing stages over seven furlongs here, also seven days ago, and has to be included in calculations. Zizou is still a maiden but has been campaigned over 10 furlongs of late and shapes as though this drop back in trip will suit. So, plenty to ponder over, with Indian Wizard the pick.
