In depth

Verdict

PLAYBILL was only beaten a head over course and distance in May and has been holding her own on Turf since in better company. She can be forgiven her latest run over a longer trip at Pontefract and can send favourite-backers home happy after this. The danger looks to be Al Guwair, who was sent off favourite for a similar race here on his debut but was too green to do himself justice. He still finished ahead of The Wizard Of Aus, however, and will know more today. Rainbows And Roses should also improve for her debut run and might have each-way claims.
