        Verdict

        Both For Life and Mary's Pet have scored off higher marks over C&D in the past but are hard to fancy in their current form. Speedyfix was winning only his second race in 28 starts when successful at Yarmouth last time but a 5lb rise is likely to anchor him here while Imjin River hasn't won since 2009 but showed a bit more last time. YES IT'S THE BOY can race off a 3lb lower mark back on the all-weather after finishing runner-up at Ffos Las last week. That may be enough for Ed Walker's charge to open his account and he gets the vote in a poor handicap.
