A modest race and The Iron Giant is chanced at the likely odds with Bob's Your Uncle and Super Sensation holding formbook claims. Brendan Powell's horses have been well backed in recent weeks and this fellow has been no exception. The trip is something of an imponderable but there have been a few noteworthy efforts in the past and it would be no surprise to see him go well. Bob's Your Uncle and Super Sensation renew rivalries with the former prevailing over the latter when they last clashed over 1m4f. The latter is less exposed although he was beaten fair and square on the day. King's Ransom ran creditably on turf at Brighton and is watched in the market for any signs of confidence. Selkirk Grace has shaped as if this step up in trip could suit whilst Missie Baileys can be relied upon to run her usual race if there is a reasonable pace from the gate. Montosari is an infrequent winner but cannot be discounted given the form of the Phillip Mitchell yard. A moderate affair in which The Iron Giant is taken to finally get his head infront.
