Milton Bradley very rarely has a debutant winner so the chances are that Decider will need the run and in what looks a virtual match Leopoldine is preferred to Discotheque. The last mentioned has 4lbs to find with the selection on official BHB ratings and is not certain to appreciate the drop back to the minimum trip. Leopoldine is not bred for sprinting but has shown plenty of speed in his races, most recently when making most before being headed close home here over six furlongs and he looks the more likely winner of the two. John Best's Epineuse would need to improve on all known evidence but still makes more appeal than either Fly By Jove or All Clued Up, who have given little cause for optimism so far. In a poor contest, Leopoldine is the obvious selection.
