        Verdict

        Dhergaam, Aetos and Sennockian Storm catch the eye in this trappy affair, and Dhergaam may be the safest proposition. Aetos ran well on debut, but he failed to justify favouritism on his re-appearance, weakening in the closing stages. He may come on for that run, and has fitness on his side, but looks vulnerable. Mark Johnston had two winners on Tuesday and he saddles the newcomer Sennockian Storm, a filly by Storm Cat. Market confidence should be heeded. Dhergaam ran a blinder on his debut at York at the Ebor meeting but has not fulfilled that promise since. His second on his final outing last season was encouraging though, and Dhergaam may be able to get off the mark.
