        Verdict

        This is quite an open affair and we will side with DOBRAVANY to get the better of Riviera Red and Halsion Challenge. The selection was really disappointing last time, but he is probably best judged on his run at Wolverhampton previously when he put in a respectable effort in a handicap. Prior to that he had shown a fair level of form in Ireland and he looks the percentage call. Riviera Red has only managed to win one race, and that was in banded company, but he wasn't beaten far in an apprentice handicap at Lingfield last time and a reproduction of that effort should see him competitive. Halsion Challenge disappointed with the cheekpieces on last time and he is tried with a tongue-tie in the hope that it brings about some improvement. Amwell House finished fourth behind Prince Rossi at Kempton last time, but he has now gone 17 runs without a win so he is hard to really enthuse about. A tough race for punters to fathom and the tentative nomination is given to Dobravany.
