Popsilca is the only course and distance winner in the line-up having defied an absence to score a year ago. She obviously goes well fresh and connections are taking a similar route and she's on exactly the same mark. Camino is returning from an even longer lay-off and hasn't won in a dozen starts on the all-weather while Billy's Boots has a very similar profile and was beaten off a lower mark at Kempton in October. Something Lucky had three starts last month on Tapeta and Fibresand and performed with credit but his Polytrack form leaves plenty to be desired. He was engaged to run in the 3.30 at Southwell yesterday so that result should be monitored. Silver Penny has run poorly in all starts here so a chance is taken with BLASTOFMAGIC, who travels from Ireland. He showed signs of ability for David Dennis before transferring to Adrian Joyce and showed up well for a long way in a better race than this at Dundalk in November.
