        Verdict

        Quantam Leap, Wrighty Almighty and Postmaster make the most appeal in this contest and we stick with Quantam Leap. The veteran has won his last two races over course-and-distance and while it is a gamble that a seven pound claimer replaces Richard Quinn in the saddle, it could well be one that proves to be fruitful. Wrighty Almighty put up a fair effort behind Confidentiality at Kempton. He was doing his best work at the finish and has to be considered a worthy rival. Postmaster hasn't won for a while although he was not helped by a modest ride in a recent amateur riders race. King After has some ability but also a history of fooling his jockeys after travelling apparently well, and as such, he is not one to trust implicitly.Park Valley Prince is nothing special although his recent success over course-and-distance confirmed the impression that he is improving. Former sprinter, Zazous is a surprise entry over today's trip while the unexposed Sophia Gardens is one to note in the betting. A trappy affair and Quantam Leap appears to have fewest negatives.
