Regal Bird is selected ahead of Green Diamond and Hold The Gold. The Magnusson stable are not noted as the most prolific as far as juvenile winners are concerned but the filly is dropping down in grade substantially and has to be worth chancing against what is likely to be ordinary opposition. Green Diamond shaped with a modicum of ability on three turf starts. The market is watched on all-weather introduction. Hold The Gold sets a fair benchmark from a formbook perspective. He has every chance of success if consenting to settle. Steele Tango looked in need of the experience on debut and can be expected to have progressed. Ubenkoor was a far from cheap acquisition at the sales and cannot be written off if the market is positive. Hold up performer, Threestoneburn would be suited if they go off a fair pace. Regal Bird has a little to prove but can bring her class into play at this level.
