TECHNIQUE took on the colts in the Blue Riband Derby trial at Epsom last month and was beaten only a head. Martyn Meade’s filly looks sure to make another bold bid in this. The Gosden yard has won three of the last four renewals and Loving Dream finished well ahead of Sherbet Lemon when second at Wetherby. Frankie partners the latter while stablemate Regent is closely matched with Save A Forest having both beaten Invite on their respective latest starts. Aidan O’Brien sends over Divinely, who won a Group 3 over a mile at the Curragh last year while the Godolphin charge Nash Nasha made a winning return in a novices' race at Sandown. Ocean Road is another novice winner likely to appreciate this longer trip.
