In depth

Verdict

Some unraced contenders represent eye-catching yards and the betting will hopefully prove informative regarding the likes of Cuckoo Clock, Silent Witness and Confounding. New Arrival has the most solid form in the book but remains vulnerable to a less exposed rival. Ahorsecalledwanda made a pleasing debut here last month when unfancied, staying on steadily to land the minor placing in a novice median auction stakes. She'll benefit from the experience and should be prominent. DRAMATISTA (NAP) hasn't been seen since last July when showing promise but Archie Watson should have her revved up to go here. Major improvement is expected.
