A chance is taken on THE CAYTERERS who may go well at a price and he is preferred to Waldvogel and Mildoura. The last-named is on a hat-trick following successive wins and should remain competitive off 4lbs higher. The mare has now won four from 12 starts and with this trip ideal will surely run well, but our vote goes instead to The Cayterers. Andrew Heffernan takes the ride aboard this gelding who rattled off a hat-trick in the summer. A length second to re-opposing Bound By Honour last time, this one might just be suited by the additional two furlongs encountered here and can gain his revenge by scoring at a price. Waldvogel has to give weight to all of his rivals but could be capable of doing so, having caught the eye when third over an inadequate nine furlongs last time. Better can certainly be expected today but from a powerful yard the price might not offer much value. Bound By Honour must be given a chance given he beat our selection when they met here. However, a 3lb pull and the extra trip mean we are against Gary Moore's charge who has since disappointed behind Waldvogel. Dance The Star has prospects as one who is at home here and at the trip but might just be handicapped to the hilt, so of more interest is Mister New York who gets plenty of weight. Noel Chance's runner is weighted to get nearer to Mildoura but we feel the form of their run in December will be confirmed. Both Young Mick and Luberon have questions to answer despite their best form being worthy of much respect whilst Full Toss will need something like a career best, so we return to The Cayterers to score.
