Broughtons Point needs a market check on this handicap debut off a lowly mark, however narrow preference is for RED CURRENT. The selection tries the first-time blinkers this afternoon following an average run at Kempton. Considering she had previously gone well there it was a disappointing effort however she may be livened up by the headgear and this proven winner looks handicapped to strike. Mr Deal ran a better race in a Kempton claimer last time out, My Jeanie has been given a two month break since her last run, whilst Woodland Violet is unexposed and bred to be better than this opening handicap mark of 45. Dovedon Angel is another making her handicap bow and she ran a better race last time out at Wolverhampton, whilst Seaquel and Greystoke Prince both come here in fair enough form (in the context of the race).
