HIDDEN GLORY is taken to make it third time lucky and see off a strong challenge from Thundering Home and newcomer Monyati. This looks a weak race and the selection has already shown ability in two maiden starts. He steps up in trip today which looks sure to suit given the way he has finished his races and with his dam being a half-sister to Yorkshire Cup winner Franklin Gardens, there is every indication that he'll relish the extra distance. The rest of his rivals to have raced all have something to prove, with the best of those looking to be Thundering Home who shaped with promise over this course and distance last month and is likely to be wiser this afternoon. There are a few interesting newcomers, of which William Knight saddles two. Lucky Breeze is ridden by Jim Crowley and she is a half-sister to Collection, whilst That's Show Biz was a cheap purchase and looking at his pedigree it is easy to see why. Neil Callan looks an interesting jockey booking for Kingston Folly, however Monyati looks a more likely newcomer. This Kyllachy colt cost 130,000 guineas as a yearling and there are plenty of winners in his classy family. However this looks a good opportunity for Hidden Glory to break his maiden tag.
