took keen hold early, chased leaders, not much room briefly over 2f out, chased winner 2f out, driven to challenge on inner over 1f out, ran on, held towards finish
slowly into stride, ran wide straight, made some late headway
in rear, pushed along throughout, made some late progress
made all, pressed over 1f out, always just doing enough and in command towards finish
dwelt, soon chased leaders, switched right over 1f out, one pace, went 3rd briefly inside final furlong
went left start, soon in touch, driven 3f out, soon weakened
slowly away, soon outpaced, well detached in rear
slowly away, always rear division
raced mid-division, held up, headway on outside over 1f out, went 3rd inside final furlong, ridden and closed on leaders towards finish
pressed winner to 2f out, soon under pressure and beaten
The market could be the best guide to this race but without it we go with YELLOW PRINTER to score but retain an interest in Twenty Score and the newcomer Aqwaas. The selection has improved from both of his two outing so far and took well to polytrack last time when posting a second place of 10 runners over distance at Wolverhampton. Those performances suggest there is much more to come and it's more than possible the Maiden tag will go here. Twenty Score, who is related to some sprint winners, shaped really well on her debut over six furlongs at Great Leighs; a performance which suggested she has a winner future. Will wait to see whether that comes here. Aqwaas, the new one for Sir Michael Stoute, has winner in the family and this seems a good introduction to racing. Any money going his way should be taken notice of and the trip seems about right. The two with drinks related names, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cognac Boy, have shown enough from their limited starts to suggest they could get involved but the choice for us is Yellow Printer.
