In depth

Verdict

Quickfire won over 7f on Turf here in June but is making his all-weather debut. Fly Pass is also looking a little exposed but Enpassant has placed in both starts on artificial surfaces and may be ready for the extra furlong. Summit is another making her all-weather debut but she’s not been disgraced in a couple of competitive nurseries on Turf since failing to land the odds in a Carlisle maiden. Stepped up to a mile here six days ago, ROYAL TAPESTRY (NAP) was arguably an unlucky loser and it would be no surprise to see the Johnston colt recoup losses racing off the same mark today.
