      Verdict

      Consistent is not a word applicable to many of these. Satwa Laird went very close over track and trip last month but hasn't figured in a couple of subsequent starts while Uncle Roger hasn't threatened since scoring at Kempton in October. Queenie's Star followed up a second at this track with poor run back here last time and SINCHIROKA has to be forgiven a dire effort at Newbury three weeks ago albeit in better company than this. Back on the Polytrack and competing in a lower grade, Ralph Smith's Wolverhampton winner gets the vote to return to winning ways.
