Cliffs Of Dover made his return from injury in the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton last month but was much too keen and eventually pulled up. He may need another run or two and doesn’t look that well handicapped at present. MAMBO DANCER has already run six times this year but he’s won three and been placed in the others. Mark Johnston’s runners generally stand their racing well and he holds Jack Bear on collateral form. Three Colours Red is only 2lb higher than when winning an amateurs’ race at Wolverhampton last year but hasn’t raced since July. Amanto also has an absence to overcome and this may be too competitive for Marshall Aid and Bertie Moon.
