In depth

Verdict

Upped in trip, winning pointer Reikers Island will need to settle better than he did at Exeter 12 days ago if he is to get home. Boreham Bill fulfilled earlier promise when taking a maiden at Southwell but a drop back in distance worked the oracle for GOLDEN SUNRISE at Exeter and he may be the one to beat on that form. Indian Hercules won at Uttoxeter in November but never threatened under a penalty at Wetherby next time and has had a break since.
