A weak claimer in which Consignia is a tentative selection over Compton Emerald and Smith N Allan Oils. This is not a race too get too involved in with plenty of good fare elsewhere, but Consignia does at least have winning form this term and is worth a second look. The four-year-old scored on turf at Bath and more recently was successful at Wolverhampton. She is nothing special but has the form in the bag. Compton Emerald is still a maiden but ran fairly well with a visor on for the first time at Redcar. With such a light weight, she can play a part, as can Smith N Allan Oils. He has been pipped near the post on a couple of occasions in these type of events on turf, and if there is any money for him in the ring, take note. A small investment on Consignia is the recommendation.
