Whirly Bird has been found a suitable opportunity on her return and gets the call over Plausabelle, Dandygrey Russett and Keep On Movin'. Whirly Bird showed plenty of ability when scoring over the course and distance in November, and this nicely-bred filly, by Nashwan out of a Shirley Heights mare, can enhance her paddock value by reeling off a hat-trick in a race that should not take much winning. She would probably not have to be spot on to beat today's opponents, the best of whom may be Plausebelle, a prolific winner on the all-weather who will appreciate the return to this surface after being beaten at Bath last time. Dandygrey Russett went out like a light at Folkestone but is also proven on the Polytrack and could run well, while Keep on Movin' found the trip too far when disappointing in claiming company at Wolverhampton and is another that returns to a track that she likes. She will find Whirly Bird a tough nut to crack though, and the latter has enough scope to score in the finale.
