      Verdict

      SOUTHERN STORM (NAP) continued her good progress when scoring at Wolverhampton last week. She can defy a penalty in this company and confirm running with fourth-placed Ixelles Diamond. Cosmic Halo went close over track and trip on a couple of occasions earlier in the year but has been back on a winning mark for a while now without getting her head in front. Miss Lillie's earlier win at the track came in an amateurs’ race and Toxaris scored over a longer trip on the Turf course here last summer. Ayr Of Elegance will need to improve on last year's efforts in handicaps to figure in this.
