    Verdict

    ACROSS THE STARS finished runner-up in both starts over a mile last year. A half-brother to 1m4f Group 2 winner Bronze Cannon, Sir Michael Stoute's colt can make a winning return over today's trip with Ryan Moore back in the plate. Second Serve improved for the step up to 1m2f at Wolverhampton and makes more appeal than the modest Trust The Man, rated only 62. There is plenty of stamina in Belle Of Seville's pedigree but this looks a tough task on her debut.
