        Verdict

        A poor maiden that can go to QUASI CONGREE though Master Lightfoot and Ajjaadd are sure to have their supporters. Ian Wood's colt has posted a couple of noteworthy efforts over six furlongs but we reckon that he has enough pace to make it count at five and with doubts about others, we are prepared to take our chances. Master Lightfoot has been well beaten on two recent visits to this circuit though may be assisted by how the track has been seen to be more favourable front runners of late. Ajjaadd has left the Godolphin operation last term but did so for a paltry 2400 pounds. This is his reappearance following a long absence. Spinning Bailiwick brings the merits of Jersey form to the table and will be having a first start for Gary Moore. Tightrope is a regular in plating events while the remainder seem devoid of ability. Quasi Congree is the pick in a race unlikely to set off any major fireworks in the ring.
