Verdict

This smaller field might suit Bridge Valley however this looks to lie between Bellini Rose, Ongoodform and SAHARA KINGDOM and it is the last-named who can continue the fine form of the stable. There are plenty of winners in the pedigree of the selection, and he is a half-brother to the dam of the top-class Silver Grecian. His sales price increased markedly as a yearling (50,000 guineas to 200,000 Euros) and it was fairly easy to see why on his debut as he scored readily over this course and distance. The second has won since and he deserves this step up in class. Bellini Rose was a winner here on debut as well and has less of a penalty because of the class of that race. She got on top near the line and there is every indication from both that run and also her pedigree that she will relish this step up in trip. Newcomer Slip Sliding Away is pitched straight in at a decent level so must be showing something at home. His dam was well aware of where the winning line was and the stable seem to be coming to hand at this late stage of the season. Ongoodform and Bridge Valley have more experience and each has shown plenty of ability. The former is of more interest as he was well-backed before his latest run in a similar race here and the first two were well clear of the third home. However the horse that beat him that day wears the Royal Blue of Godolphin and it is his stablemate Sahara Kingdom who we fancy to prevail today.
