A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Southport Star, Mambazo and Landucci and the narrow vote is given to Southport Star. The selection was a fair third behind United Nations last time out, that form looks rock solid and from a good draw and with the drop in trip also looking to be in his favour he looks the one to be on. Mambazo rates the main danger on his latest second behind Rosein but all his best form is over a shorter trip and with this in mind he looks worth taking on. Landucci won well last time out when beating Outer Hebredies but he will find this harder under his penalty. Neardown Beauty is game and consistent and is sure to run her race and with the booking of Ryan Moore catching the eye is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Secret Assassin is another that could go well but he looks exposed to a less exposed type and in a race where few can be ruled out for the winner we return to Southport Star to small stakes.
