        Verdict

        Macedon,Imperial Gain and Secret Liaison are three against the field in a wide open finale and the vote is given to Macedon. The selection won a maiden in good style last time out when beating High Octave, enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and from a good draw he looks the value bet in an open affair. Imperial Gain rates the main danger as he won a competitive handicap in good style when beating Endless Night last time but his penalty makes life tougher and he will need to improve again to win off this higher mark. Secret Liaison is another that could go well as he is another last tim,e out winner but consistency is not his strong point and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Of the remainder Sands of Barra has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price while Broken Spur is from a yard in form but has shown very little of late and for the winner we return to Macedon who is unexposed and has plenty of scope for improvement.
