Marmooq rates the token pick in the finale with Mugeba and Drawback cited as the possible alternatives. Marmooq ran a fair race on his debut for Michael Attwater and while that was in selling grade, this race is little better than that. On that line of form, he could reverse form with Drawback although it is worth noting that Ron Harris' yard are running well at present. Mugeba is ordinary but does at least try her best despite her obvious lack of ability. Napoletano has shown better for further but Simon Dow managed to glean a winner from another frustrating sort last week and success here would not be a complete surprise. Burford Lass was far from disgraced on her first attempt over seven furlongs and is worth another chance. Piccostar is often backed but seldom delivers while Beneking appears best of the rest. Not a memorable close to proceedings on paper and Marmooq is the recommendation to the most minimal of stakes.
