Verdict

Quiet Appeal is the only one of these to have won over the trip though her victory at Wolverhampton was gained in a very slow time and she has an 8lb rise to contend with. Captain Cardington escapes a penalty for landing an apprentice race over 1m2f here last week and must go close if staying the extra while Richard Fahey sends Gabrial's Lexi from Yorkshire for her handicap debut off what looks a tempting mark. NEXT CRY looked ideally suited to stepping up in trip when scoring over 1m2f here last time and, with just a 4lb rise and the extra quarter-mile looking certain to suit, he can complete a quick double.
