In depth

Verdict

The beautifully-bred PRIME RUN cost 140,000gns as a yearling and is related to several high-class winners including Silca's Sister and Golden Silca. She made a promising start behind the odds-on Red Trump at Wolverhampton and should have come on enough to take this. Marmas may do better when sent over further and Haymarket could prove a bigger threat with his stable in outstanding form. He didn't show much in three starts late last season but, being by Singspiel out of an all-weather winner, is likely to do much better than he's shown to date. Solemn Oath had just one run last season to blow the cobwebs away and showed enough to suggest he can do well in his second term so is one to note in the betting.
