Most of these have been competing with one another over the winter and Soldier's Minute beat last year’s winner Exalted Angel and the latter’s stablemate Lord Of The Lodge in a conditions' race at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. Spycatcher is a third Karl Burke runner and drops down in trip while One Night Stand had the measure of Fizzy Feet in a handicap here last time but will find life tougher on these terms. Good Effort has strong claims having won this in 2020 and landing a Listed sprint here in November but a chance is taken on the returning ROHAAN. Highly progressive last year having been successful in a Group 2 sprint before winning the Wokingham at Ascot, he can race off a similar mark today with Ryan Moore’s presence suggesting he’s ready for action.
