A low grade event made up of disappointing types but Shoof is a notable exception and is the TEAMtalk preferred. Alec Stewart's lightly raced filly has been narrowly denied on her last two starts in handicap company and, off a similar mark, should be thereabouts particularly with a little improvement still forthcoming. White Cliffs met a well treated rival last time at Chepstow but may struggle under top weight. Jakeal appeared not to last home over a mile last time but had previously won a Haydock handicap (now 4lb higher) over this trip in August and has to be respected while Smith N Allan Oils and Pheckless both ran promisingly on their latest start and are others to consider in an open affair.
