Empiricist has shown little so far this year and Tribal Path also has much to prove but the remaining quintet all have some sort of chance in an open contest. Autun has Polytrack experience having twice finished second at Kempton and he may have found 1m4f a shade too far at Doncaster. Stresa is another who will handle the surface, though has to prove she stays this far. Windsor winner AL JAMAL also has her stamina to prove having weakened quickly over 1m2f at Salisbury on her reappearance. But she can possibly be forgiven that run and looks a progressive sort on the whole. She gets the vote ahead of the returning Tinghir and High Time Too, who may find this company too hot.
