      Verdict

      Torolight is upped in class after winning over track and trip and Glutnforpunishment is another facing a tougher task after scoring at Southwell. Thunderoad had been threatening at Wolverhampton until struggling at Doncaster last time while several make their handicap debuts. Chester third Vindolanda has finished a lot closer than both Calculation and Mon Frere have managed to date but TAMMOOZ makes most appeal. Kept to a mile so far, Roger Varian’s charge is a half-brother to a winner over 1m6f on the all-weather and a big step forward is predicted with this extra test of stamina likely to suit.
