In depth

Verdict

An open handicap can go to Wait For The Will, who is selected ahead of Carlton Scoop and Musango. Gary Moore's old timer won well on his penultimate start over this course and distance when he travelled well throughout. He was then slightly disappointing at Wolverhampton next time up, but given a break since, he looks sure to go well today. Sunset Boulevard is another who will have to disregard a poor last run; however, he is unexposed and should be more at home now returned to this trip. Mae Cigan and Sonny Mac are two to monitor in the market for support; however, of more interest may be Amwell Brave who drops in trip and should go close. Carlton Scoop is consistent so is certainly another for what is becoming a lengthy shortlist. Harcourt's recent third reads pretty well but he is not the most reliable, and therefore we will tentatively return to Wait For The Will as the nomination.
