Verdict
Exemplary has done his recent winning over 2m and the same comment applies to recent Kempton winner First Avenue. Art Scholar steps up a grade off a 6lb higher mark having also won at Kempton last time and Layline looks a bigger threat on the evidence of his second in a conditions race over C&D last month. However, the much travelled CASHELGAR was a winner when trained in France, took on the likes of So You Think at the Curragh for Dermot Weld last May and, after only one disappointing run for Jeremy Noseda, was sold on to current connections. He made a promising start too when a close-up sixth at this track and could start a tempting price in this company.
