A tricky opener as the previous C&D winners are racing off higher marks here with the exception of BLUE NOODLES. He went close over 6f last week and looks set to strike off his current rating, but Monsieur Pontaven is 4lb higher than November's victory and Gala Spirit has failed off today's mark the last twice having scored here in October.
