Double M is the pick over Byo, with Willheconquertoo and Madrasee expected to figure. Most of these met here on 18 December, with Willheconquertoo coming out in top over Hammer Of The Gods, with Double M and Palawan further behind. John Egan gave the winner an enterprising ride and in truth the pair never looked like being caught and at today's weights, many will fancy their chances of upholding the form. However, Double M was slow to get going on that occasion, and since then has made amends in impressive fashion, dominating proceedings over six furlongs a fortnight ago. Although the drop back to the minimum will not be entirely in his favour, the eight-year-old is taken to turn the tables on Willheconquertoo. Madrasee has yet to make the most of her lenient mark at present bit is nicely drawn, while Hammer Of The Gods, who we mentioned earlier, has it to do at the weights this time. Byo could be threat though as he finished ahead of Willheconquertoo when they met in claiming company ay Wolverhampton, but as he is not certain to run his race on the Polytrack, is passed over in favour of Double M in the finale.
